Companies that have leaked can get out of the moratorium and start unscheduled checks: the move is being discussed in federal departments.

Tinkoff Bank was fined 70 thousand rubles under the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses for leaking personal data. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the press service of the Moscow Savelovsky District Court.

Previously, several companies were fined for the same violation, including Yandex, VK, Gemotest, Skyeng. Data about leaks is published in the public domain on specialized Telegram channels.

The Ministry of Digital Development and the Federal Antimonopoly Service are discussing the resumption of unscheduled inspections of IT companies. The measure will affect those companies that have leaked data or violated antitrust laws.
