The Chinese company GAC China has introduced a version of the engine, which uses ammonia as a fuel. They have long been waiting for danger, but they are aimed at use in large vehicles, while GAC China is ready to service their engines, even cars. However, doing so will be an expectation.
The engine from GAC China is interesting in that ammonia is directly processed in it, without surface separation. This increases, speeds up and reduces the cost of the process, although the efficiency of such a system is much to be desired.
