In the near future, users who update their Chrome browser to version 115 will encounter a new information window that cannot be closed easily.
This window completely blocks the browser and cannot be closed by clicking or moving the “X” button.
Instead, Google will ask users to enable new privacy features that will make ads more personal and free from intrusive unnecessary ads.
In the first “Enable privacy feature” window, users will be able to choose between “Enable” and “No thanks”. If the second option is selected, the browser displays another window explaining the significance of these changes and how new features will limit the collection of information by sites. Here the user will be given the opportunity to accept the changes again or go to the browser settings.
You can access new features by typing chrome://settings/adPrivacy in the address bar. A window will open with several options. You can disable any of these features if you wish.
