But popular insider Max Jambore said that the device will receive a slightly different name – OnePlus Open.

Note that the name OnePlus V Fold first surfaced in early 2023, but there have been very few rumors about it since then. The name sounds similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold, but it seems to aim for something branded OnePlus.

While using a verb as the name of a phone may seem like a misnomer, the OnePlus Open itself could be a pretty interesting proposition in the foldable smartphone market.

The novelty is expected to receive an 8-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16 GB of RAM and other flagship features.
