Qualcomm announced this Tuesday (30) a new chipset that promises to bring 5G to more basic mobile phones. Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is manufactured using 4nm lithography and promises more powerful, yet more affordable products.

The new Snapdragon also supports photos with up to 84MP capture and HEIC, H.264 (AVC), and H.265 (HEVC) formats. Slow-motion videos can reach up to 120fps but are in HD resolution (720p).

The new chipset supports Quick Charge 4+ technology, among others, can support LPDDR4x memories (up to 2133MHz), UFS 3.1 storage, as well as USB-C 3.2 cables. It also comes with dual-band GPS, which is more effective and accurate.
