The structure of the developer Samolet launched a fully digital rental and apartment rental service. Yandex has a platform with similar functionality – Samolet is not considered a competitor to Yandex, because it uses a different model and approach to commission.
Samolet Plus, a subsidiary of the developer Samolet, has launched a digital long-term apartment rental service. A company representative told RB.RU about this.
The signing of documents on the rental of an apartment is done online in the application without the contacts of the owner and the tenant. The service offers its services in a package. Depending on the rate, the package includes tenant verification, insurance, transaction support.
“The client can be sure that the money will arrive on time; if the tenant for any reason cannot make the next payment on time, we will do it for him. The owner of the apartment is also protected against the sudden departure of residents, Samolet Plus will reimburse the cost of “downtime” of the apartment and utility bills”, said Alexander Popov, General Director of the Airplane Plus service.
The security guarantee of the home for the landlord will not be a deposit, but an insurance with coverage greater than the amount of the deposit, specified in the service.
Only the tenant pays the commission, Samolet Plus noted. Its size is determined by the franchisee partners of the company individually for each property.
In January, Yandex launched a service with similar functionality. “Yandex.Arenda” allows you to rent an insured apartment without collateral for a long time, as well as rent housing.
Samolet Plus emphasized that they do not compete with Yandex, because they work according to a different model and have a different approach to commission. In the Avión Plus service, the tenant pays the entire commission at once, so renting for a period of more than one year is more profitable, the service explained.
