NtechLab announced changes to the management team. Andrey Telenkov will step down as CEO and will be succeeded by Sergey Suchkov, who has more than 15 years of experience in leading Russian IT companies.

Change of CEO at NtechLab

“Due to the multiple growth of key indicators, it became necessary to separate the management within the company. Andrey Telenkov will participate in the company’s projects aimed at increasing the company’s value for shareholders <…> The complementary skills of the company’s new director in Russia, Sergey Suchkov, will contribute to further development,” NtechLab said in a statement.

Suchkov has held senior positions in IT companies for more than 15 years, including Spektra and Rostelecom, and was responsible for the development of areas such as smart and safe cities, 5G, as well as projects for the development of recognition algorithms in transport.

  • NtechLab has been developing video analytics software based on artificial intelligence technologies since 2015. The company’s products and algorithms are actively used in the public sector. So, in 2017, NTechLab agreed to connect its software to the video surveillance system of the city of Moscow. In 2020, the system was launched in ten other major cities.
  • At the end of 2022, the Russian company NtechLab received revenue of 1 billion rubles.
  • In March 2023, the founders of Russian developer of facial recognition systems Alexander Kabakov and Artem Kukharenko announced their departure from the company due to disagreements with management and investors.
