I love listening to music very much. But in recent months, it has become more often lagging behind actual albums due to the departure of Western music labels from Russia.

The labels have gone and taken a lot with them. volume, which is no longer available on streaming services. So, for example, I learned about the new Metallica album, which was released back in 2023, just yesterday.

How did you know? Yes, I just listened to one radio station broadcasting in Chicago. Listened in real time, along with DJ chatter and commercials, right on your iPhone. Yes, that’s possible.

Now I’ll tell you about the most convenient application in which you can connect to any of the 25,000 radio stations around the world in real time and constantly monitoring yourself with new tracks and fresh artists.

The app is called Radio Garden and it’s completely free. Download from the App Store soon.

C grade design, top ten functionality

Each green dot is a radio station.

When applications are detected, you are greeted with a three-dimensional model of the Earth of our planet, strewn with green dots. Each such point is a local radio station, to which you can instantly connect by simply tapping on it.

This principle provides endless scope for research: you can create a model of the Earth, expand the continents and jump from a little-known radio station in the suburbs of Barcelona to a DJ, a broadcasting center from New York in just a few seconds.

Any station can be added to the favorites list.

Particularly liked radio points can be included in your own list of favorite radio receivers. So over time, you accumulate a database of music for every taste, access to which is always at hand, regardless of the obligation and the lack of releases in streaming services sold in Russia.

And most importantly – everything is absolutely legal. And free.

Personally, I really like listening to US radio, there are endless conversations of DJs with a friend with a friend and with listeners on the air. Just imagine that sitting at home I listen to a discussion of the weather in some Miami, immediately after that I savor a fresh track that I didn’t even suspect. Well, that’s great!

The design of the Garden Radio app doesn’t look fancy. Personally, I do not really like the combination of blue and green colors, but the service performs its function perfectly, and it works even in context. That is, you can block your iPhone, delete it in your pocket, broadcast in headphones.

The main thing is that the mobile Internet on the cellular tariff is unlimited, or the Wi-Fi point does not fail.

Of the additional nice features, there are already collected collections of radio stations by category, but personally, it’s much more interesting for me to turn the globe and find cool radio stations at random.

For the lazy, there are already ready-made playlists of radio stations.

So my personal selection of hotspots already has a great 24/7 chill-out radio from Italy, a hard rock radio from Houston, Texas, and an absolutely amazing station from Mexico that plays Mexican alternative and rap. Very killer tracks, to find.

I remind you that the Radio Garden application is absolutely free and available in the Russian App Store. Download, explore, discover the boundless world of music of various genres from around the world.

If you don’t mind, you can support with a ruble directly in the application. 249 rubles is not such a huge amount, and I’m sure the guys will be pleased. Personally, I donated without a doubt, let them not launch this project, release updates and develop.

All great music!
