ZTE has announced the global launch of the Nubia Redmagic 7 Pro. This high-end gaming smartphone combines Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with a 120Hz display and a 16MP selfie camera built into the display. The device is expected to be released on April 27 with a price tag of 799 Euros.

The 6.8-inch amoled panel offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a touch sampling rate of 960 Hz, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The manufacturer claims 100% coverage of the dci-p3 color spectrum and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The Qualcomm soc is backed by 16GB of lpddr5 memory and 256GB of storage, doubled to 512GB for an extra 100 Euros. The camera system consists of a 64MP main lens (f/1.79), followed by two 8 and 2MP sensors (f/2.2, f/2.4). In addition to the USB type-c port, the phone is equipped with a headphone jack and shoulder triggers.

The combination of a steam room and a small integrated fan should keep the temperature of the components under control while gaming. This fan does its job at a speed of up to 20,000 rpm and is also equipped with RGB lighting. The 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging provides the power, which is much lower than the 135 watts of the Chinese version.
