According to the state’s announcement on its Telegram channel, the new rocket will have two stages on kerosene and liquid oxygen fuel components. The absence of an upper stage and the ability to launch a payload into orbit within two hours make it unique.

The maximum payload that the rocket can bring into a sun-synchronous orbit is 600 kg.

Roskosmos emphasized that the presented layout is only one of the possible options for an ultralight rocket, and the final configuration has not yet been confirmed. The main task of creating such a device is the deployment of multi-satellite systems based on small spacecraft.

This project will be another step in the development of the space industry for Russia and will confirm the country’s desire for innovation in the field of space technology.
