The Russian business social network TenChat is going to enter Iraq, the company has started negotiations with representatives of the Middle Eastern state. If they are successful, Iraq will become the 13th country where the app is present, the press service said.
According to Semyon Tenyaev, founder of the social network and the WBC group, the talks will help strengthen bilateral trade between Russia and Iraq. He hopes that Iraqi users will be able to join TenChat in the fall.
Tenyaev noted that the meeting with the Ambassador of Iraq in the Russian Federation made it possible to outline a negotiating roadmap for the location and mutual integration of the company’s servers on the territory of the Middle Eastern state.
TenChat is used in 12 countries. In addition to Russia, these are Belarus, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
At the beginning of the month, VBC announced the purchase of Penenza, a platform to attract investment.
