The company Voentelecom, which occupies the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, is creating its own mobile operator VTK-Mobile for the construction of networks, the provision of communication services and authorities and special consumers.
The operator received authorization to provide services under the MNVO model back in 2019. The company has developed a project on Tele2 websites. Among the residents of civilian cities, a special connection has been identified.
Currently, Voentelecom specialists are performing tasks in new territories: increasing coverage and improving communications in the Crimea and Sevastopol, testing a Russian-made base station. Also, “testing and parallel use of SIM cards with Russian cryptography” has already begun.
