1: Access a Discord account
You must have a verified Discord account to join the Midjourney server. Create your Discord profile via browser, mobile or desktop app.
2: Join the Midjourney server
After your account is verified, go to the Midjourney website and select “Sign in” at the bottom right of the page. You will then be redirected to Discord and have to accept the Bot’s terms of use on the platform.
3: Choose one of the available plans
Midjourney offers 3 plans to its users. Choose the one that best suits your needs:
4: Join the Midjourney server
In Discord, click the “+” button under the server list in the sidebar, select “join server” and paste or type the link http://discord.gg/midjourney into the text box.
5: Find a #Public or #Beginner channel
Search for rooms named “#Newbie” or “#general” on the right side of the page on the Midjourney Discord server. Choose one of them and that’s it! You are ready to take full advantage of the AI tool.
Extra tip: create a dedicated Midjourney server just for you
Don’t want your request to be seen by all server members on Discord? Create your own! Check out:
1: Create a new server
On the Discord home screen, select the “+” button on the left of the page. Follow the instructions there and create a new server.
2: Connect the server to AI
Return to the Midjourney channel and look for a message from Bot. Clicking on the profile will open a screen:
Select the “Add to server” option and select the domain you created in the previous step. An authorization tab will open and once you accept the terms you will be able to use Midjourney privately.
