Service for developers Blind published a study in which he compared the average salaries in different technology companies.

According to him, Apple and Microsoft pay their entry-level engineers less than Google, Amazon and Meta (banned in the Russian Federation, recognized as an extremist organization). So, Amazon pays an average of $159,000 a year, Google $184,000, Meta $179,000. Apple averages $142,000 a year, Microsoft $141,000.

Interesting Facts:

🔻 Meta is the fastest to increase the salaries of their employees

🔻 Microsoft has a multi-level job for software engineers, the company has more flexible promotions.

🔻 Apple’s salary and job levels are “most consistent and fair”

🔻 Google has the most balanced pay range (rarely does someone at a lower level get paid more than someone at a higher level)

🔻 Amazon has the highest salary level, they can seriously argue depending on the position.

Blind is an online forum where technology company employees can share anonymous information about their visit, including promotions, salaries, complaints, and more. [The Verge]
