After the successful launch of this technology on tablets and laptops, the company decided to implement it on smartphones as well.

The first smartphone to use it was the TCL 40 NxtPaper. The device is equipped with a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a special reading mode.

You can also use your smartphone as a notepad with the optional T-Pen case.

The novelty is powered by the Helio G88 processor and has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The photo capabilities of the device are also a pleasant surprise: 50 MP main camera, 5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2 MP macro module.

While the battery capacity of the smartphone is 5010 mAh, it supports fast charging at 33 watts. A full charge takes only 100 minutes.

The smartphone will go on sale in Europe next month for around €200.
