Investors lost the most in stocks: this was reported by 23.07% of respondents, in currencies, 13.39%, and in tangible assets (cars, real estate, equipment), 13.24%.
71.43% indicated that the return on all investments in 2023 ranged between 10 and 30%. The lowest income came from bonds (34.15%), crowdlending (26.26%) and shares (19.57%).
Only 0.97% earned more than 100% annually.
“Taking into account inflation, the official interest rate of the Central Bank and many other factors, a return of 30% per year using low-risk instruments is a very good indicator. The average annual profitability for 2023 at JetLend is 19.3%,” said JetLend CEO Roman Khoroshev.
As part of the study, a total of 1,344 investors were surveyed. Of them, 66.59% invested in crowdlending on the platform up to 1 million rubles, 22.1% – from 1 to 5 million rubles, 6.32% – from 5 to 10 million, another 4.75 % – more than 10 million rubles.
