Lenovo today (1st) legion 9iGaming laptop with integrated liquid cooling system to keep the machine’s temperature low while gaming. The laptop is one of the brand’s highlights at IFA 2023 in Berlin, Germany.

The Legion Coldfront system, the first of its kind in a 16-inch gaming laptop, developed in partnership with Cooler Master, activated when the plate temperature reaches 84°C. In addition to the artificial intelligence-assisted mechanism, there are three fans to dissipate the heat.

Another highlight is the Mini LED display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 165 Hz refresh rate, 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2000 pixels) and 3 ms response time. The panel supports Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 100 and Nvidia G-Sync technologies, is TÜV Rheinland certified and has a brightness of 1,200 nits.

The Lenovo Legion 9i processor is a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13980HX that can come with up to GeForce RTX 4090 GPU and 32GB or 64GB of RAM. Internal storage is up to 2TB using PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

To provide more autonomy, the manufacturer has scaled the 99.99 WHr battery with 330 W fast charging support using the included Slim adapter; Charging via USB-C is limited to 140 W. According to the company, A full charge takes 80 minutes.

There’s also a forged carbon cover, RGB keyboard, Full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and speakers with Nahimic Audio. Lenovo’s new gaming laptop also comes with an SD 3.0 card reader, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, RJ45, headphone jack, and USB-A and USB-C ports.

Available with Windows 11 Home or Pro, Lenovo Legion 9i will go on sale in October. cost from EUR 4,499, equivalent to R$23,956 at today’s exchange rateIncludes free access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for three months. There is no information about its release in Brazil.
