From January to August 2023, 18.6 million smartphones were sold in Russia, which is 26% more than the previous period last year.
As calculated in MTS, in money sales increased by 12%, to 396 billion rubles. In first place in terms of money, Apple still has a market share of 34%, followed by Xiaomi with 20% and Samsung with 17% of the market.
At the same time, the operator notes, in natural terms, Apple’s share has decreased to 9%, equaling the strong Infinix, which last year had 1% of the Russian market in such things.
