This feature allows users to schedule energy-intensive tasks, such as running appliances or charging electric vehicles, during periods when cleaner energy sources are available.

Grid Forecast will be available on a variety of Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with the general availability of iOS 17 on September 18. It will also be available as an iOS widget or tracking widget and will initially be limited to the US.
