Samsung has started the distribution of One UI 6 Beta for Galaxy S22 mobile phones. Now owners of the top-end 2022 model will be able to try the South Korean company’s new operating system based on Android 14.

Users who want to try the new operating system can access the test program to get the free update. Any of the models in the S22 series (Galaxy S22, S22+ or S22 Ultra) are eligible for testing.

To participate, the user must log in to the Samsung Members app and select the card at the top of the page, if available.

New features of One UI 6 include the new Quick Panel, repositioning of the clock on the lock screen, new default font, new emoji design, new widgets, improvements to the native photo gallery app, and easier access to battery settings.

One UI 6 Beta is available for the Galaxy S22 series as well as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. Distribution as usual Launching earlier for consumers in South Korea and gradually rolling out to more countries over weeks.

When is One UI 6 coming out?

One UI 6 is expected to be released during the Samsung Developer Conference 2023 (SDC23) in October this year. News about the new system and more information about the Samsung ecosystem will be presented at the event.
