Battlefield 5 was tested at high graphics settings. The average FPS in the game was 107 fps and 125 fps (with 1700X and 5800X respectively), the maximum was 126 fps and 254 fps respectively, and the minimum was 85 fps and 106 fps.
The CS:GO game was released with a high preset. The average frame rate was 283 fps and 621 fps, maximum 668 fps and 858 fps, minimum 134 fps and 135 fps with the R7 1700X and R7 5800X respectively.
Cyberpunk 2077 came with the High preset. The average FPS in it was 103 fps (R7 1700X) and 141 fps (R7 5800X), the maximum was 132 fps and 170 fps, respectively, and the minimum was 91 fps and 118 fps, respectively.
GTA 5 was running on high graphics settings. The average performance in this game was 116 fps (R7 1700X) and 182 fps (R7 5800X), maximum – 147 fps and 189 fps, minimum – 85 fps and 75 fps, respectively.
Forza Horizon 5 was tested with a high preset. The average frame rate was 116 fps and 156 fps (1700X and 5800X, respectively), the maximum was 147 fps and 181 fps, and the minimum was 100 fps and 137 fps, respectively.
On average, the Ryzen 7 5800X performed better in all games. The difference with the R7 1700X in terms of average FPS across all games was 63% (137 fps vs. 223 fps).
