The web version of Photoshop was finally released this Wednesday (27). After two years in beta, the service is now available to subscribers with key features powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

Photoshop for browsers offers several options tools are available in the computer program but displayed in a more direct and simplified interface. Features include a contextual taskbar that helps the user manage the editing workflow.

If the user wishes, it is possible to disable the tool and have an interface more similar to the full experience, with the tools arranged in places similar to the installable version. Another advantage of the browser platform is Collaboration as it allows multiple people to work on the same project. More functionality should come to the web app in the future.

AI tools in Photoshop web

Photoshop’s popular AI tools are also available on the web. These include the Generative Fill and Generative Expand tools, both of which have the ability to add, remove elements, and expand images based on text descriptions.

Photoshop web is paid

The web version of Photoshop is part of all Adobe subscription packages in the program. In Brazil, the cheapest subscription costs R$43 per month.

Adobe has been experimenting with a free version of Photoshop web since June 2022, but today’s version is not that version. There is no estimate at this time regarding the exact release of this free version of the service.
