Ozon’s entry into the online car sales market reveals a growing trend in the industry, but indicates that only a select few buyers are ready to buy cars online. The market does not plan to provide vehicle loans through Ozon bank.
According to media reports, three years ago Ozon tried to introduce the “Cars” category on its platform, but then buyers could only reserve a car online and make the purchase at a dealership. Now the entire process, including signing the sales contract, is carried out online and the final signature occurs at the time of delivery.
