Teachers in Yekaterinburg are no longer allowed to contact parents via WhatsApp and Telegram. Instead, students are encouraged to use paper diaries to communicate with their families.
According to the message from the class teachers, communication between teachers and parents will be stopped on the specified messengers as of October 1. This step was taken to move communication in schools to the local platform created by VKontakte and Sferum.
Therefore, parents will have to use traditional paper diaries to communicate with their children’s teachers.
