The structure of the company Davide Campari-Milano NV filed a corresponding lawsuit before the arbitration court of the Rostov region against the distributor Master-Trade. Kommersant drew attention to the lawsuit.
As follows from Campari’s statement, the company did not give its consent for the supply of Aperol and drinks of this brand are not included in the list of products permitted for parallel imports.
The court asked Campari to confirm the violated right. The meeting is scheduled for October 30.
The Campari Group stopped investing and reduced its business in Russia after the entry of the Russian Armed Forces into Ukraine. And the structure’s revenue at the end of 2022 increased by 20.9% to 7.5 billion rubles, net profit amounted to 507.6 million rubles.
