Miku is more than a camera. This is a monitor that monitors the child’s breathing, temperature and humidity in the room, and also provides two-way communication between the child and adults. At the same time, the original developer who created Miku from scratch sold the company to another vendor, Innovative Health Monitoring LLC.

The deal came in September, following a series of major errors when updating the Miku Baby Monitor firmware. As soon as the brand was purchased, the new owner did not increase the subscription price or the initial fee, but cut out basically all the important functions of the video baby monitor that made the device worth buying.

Users began to complain that for $ 400 you can now buy a camera that is no different from its $ 30 counterparts, the necessary functionality is available only for a separate fee, and you have to pay separately for each “feature”.
