There is a growing number of complaints online about monitor burn-in on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Our author also encountered this.

Apple has already responded to the situation – provided clarifications in each case and replaced the device with a new one if the problem is confirmed upon inspection.

Since we (and many others in Russia) rushed to buy a new iPhone from “gray” sellers, it seemed pointless to us to rely on Apple’s reserves, recently authorized service centers, and even more so on the promises of various kinds of “gorbushechniks”.

But what will happen if a buyer of an iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max encounters such a condition at a large retailer that provides its resources for iPhones?

MTS commented to the editors of iPhones.ru on this scenario:

At the moment, we do not apply screen burn-in issues to any iPhone 15 models. All iPhones purchased from our retail network are covered by a one-year warranty from MTS, so if a customer encounters such a problem, we will replace their device for a new one or refund your money.

PS We are still waiting for Yandex Market’s response to their incomprehensible iPhone 15.
