Apple fans have launched a petition demanding the resumption of the Belkin F2E9142-WHT ADC/DVI output cable, which has been discontinued for a long time. It is needed to connect older Macs with an Apple Display Connector (ADC) port to VGA monitors.
Now this cable is very rare. Sometimes you can find it on eBay, but it costs about $200.
Without a cable, you can connect a Mac with an ADC to a VGA monitor only by replacing the video card with a similar one with a VGA connector, but it costs much more than an adapter.
Check your cable supplies because this Apple dongle costs $250.
The end of one little-known adapter has caused mild outrage among vintage Mac fans, as it’s the only way to connect older devices to modern digital displays without replacing the hardware.
