The operator of the capital’s entertainment complex “Dream Island” filed a lawsuit against the Russian structure of Adidas, writes Interfax citing data from the file of arbitration cases. The amount of claims is 3.5 billion rubles.

The Dream Island operator wants to recover 3.5 billion rubles from the Adidas subsidiary through the courts.

Amusement Park LLC’s lawsuit against Adidas LLC was filed on October 9, but has not yet been accepted for production. No other details have yet been indicated in the case file.

The German retailer suspended online and offline sales in Russia in spring 2022 due to the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. There was also an Adidas store on the territory of Dream Island.

It was previously reported that Adidas’ Russian business could be bought by Turkish company FLO Retailing and the Middle East’s Daher group.
