Anyone can apply to participate and try one of the 20 autonomous vehicles. Travelers can choose from a variety of pickup and drop-off points, including Sirius University, Sochi Park, and select hotels.
This project has become a new stage in the development of Yandex’s unmanned technologies. Sirius is a difficult location for autonomous transportation due to the large number of traffic lights, intersections and other features.
All this makes the launched tests particularly valuable for the company. Despite the autonomy, there is always a test driver in the car who monitors traffic safety.
Please note that applications for participation in the test are accepted on the official website of the project. After the application is approved, passengers can order a robotaxi via the Yandex.Go application.
