During a meeting of the Council on Physical Culture and Sports, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Russian Boxing Federation, Umar Kremlev, proposed placing servers and offices of gaming companies in Russia.
He came to the decision because of “shooting games that promote anti-state values,” in games some “everything Russian” comes across in a negative way.
Russian President Vladimir Putin supported this proposal:
Indeed, the server should be located with us. We love both Canada and the USA, but making money from us, especially in such a negative way for us: why are we allowing this?
We must do it. Don’t work it out, but do it, and you need to include it in a single regulator.
