WhatsApp has added a multi-account feature in its latest update.

WhatsApp* messenger now has a multi-account feature. It was added in the latest update, according to the WhatsApp blog.

“This means you no longer need to log out every time you change your account and you also no longer need to carry two phones with you,” the messaging message says.

To create a second account, the user will need another phone number and a SIM card. User can configure all parameters for both accounts separately.

The appearance of the multi-account function in WhatsApp was known in June 2023.

WhatsApp previously launched channels, but not in Russia, due to possible blocking of Messenger.

*WhatsApp belongs to MetaPlataformas, whose activities are recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and are prohibited.
