Already in January-February 2023, 978 cars were imported from Georgia to Russia for a total of 13.5 million dollars. 209 cars were brought in this period of 2022.
As mentioned, re-exports from Georgia are made to Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, except for Russia. First, the cars are exported from the USA and Europe to Georgia (8,200 cars for $97 million since the beginning of 2023), and then re-exported to Russia and other EAEU countries.
