Whoosh service, which provides electric scooters for rent, tested its own batteries for electric scooters. They believe that this innovation will help reduce operating costs and improve the quality of devices. Testing began in the summer and there are plans to expand the project to southern cities where Whoosh operates year-round. More than 100 electric scooters currently use the company’s own batteries.
These batteries affect travel range, reliability and safety in different weather conditions. Whoosh electric batteries have a larger capacity and charge faster than existing analogues. It is also equipped with interfaces for remote monitoring and data collection.
Whoosh staff designed the entire battery structure, including the housing, electronic battery management system, and testing procedures. This allows them to effectively monitor the performance of each battery in real time and respond quickly to different usage scenarios.
