Bloomberg reports that Apple plans to add two major new features to the 2024 Apple Watch.

Firstly, the watch’s sensors measure arterial (blood) pressure. The system will simply notify the user whether their blood pressure has an impact on development. The watch will prompt you to write the data to a log. To avoid possible misdiagnosis, this feature immediately advises the owner to see a doctor or check their blood pressure using cuffs.

In the future, the system will show accurate values and diagnose the status of occurrence of such indicators.

Secondly, the new Apple Watch will have a sleep apnea detection function (approx. a disorder in which a person frequently stops breathing while sleeping). To do this, the watch will analyze users’ movement patterns and sleep quality.

Finally, in its article, Bloomberg added that the non-invasive blood sugar measurement feature should be the first to get the Apple Watch. However, calculations had to be constantly postponed due to the complexity of the design.
