Today, the first customers received a MacBook Pro and iMac with M3. Some of them have encountered an unpleasant problem: their computers are running an older version of macOS Ventura 13.5 and cannot update to the latest macOS Sonoma 14.1 due to an error.
There were probably some of these MacBook Pros and iMacs sitting in Apple’s warehouses in July of this year. That’s when macOS Ventura 13.5 was released.
When you receive a system update via System Settings, the message “Your Mac is updated” appears. It is also impossible to download a new version of the system through the Mac App Store.
