YouTube has announced an update for its app on Android and iOS mobile devices. HE The feature called “Integrated Environment” mode delivers a more dynamic, content-relevant lighting effect and It can be used while watching videos in full screen.
When the user tried to put videos in this mode using the entire screen of the smartphone or tablet, it was automatically disabled. With the update, this will no longer happen.. When the feature is used in full screen, different colors can be seen around the edges of the panel.
Colors are created from the watched video. For example, if the user is watching a production with a lot of yellow color, the “Integrated Ambiance” mode will leave something close to that on the left and right edges of the screen.
Integrated Media ties in with YouTube’s dark theme
To use the feature, Just check whether the application is used in dark theme or not (or Dark Mode). This way the program will activate automatically “Integrated Media” mode options.
On the other hand, if you don’t like the function, you can disable it. Just follow the steps below:
- Access the viewing page in the app;
- Tap “Settings”;
- Then tap “Integrated media”;
- Finally, disable the feature on this screen.
