Insider Kosutami said that Apple plans to redesign the cooling system in the iPhone 16.
In it, the company will use graphene for the first time. Graphene has high thermal conductivity, surpassing that of the medical grade currently used in the iPhone.
The company has already registered several patents regarding the use of this material for heat dissipation.
It is believed that Apple took this step amid loud complaints about excessive heating of the iPhone 15 Pro. Previously, users reported that their flagships exceeded the comfortable temperature, which made them impossible to use.
