This information revealed by Forbes sources heralds important changes in the Russian IT sector.

According to sources, the proposed business restructuring scenario is in the final stages. This single structure is planned to represent the interests of both sanctioned and non-sanctioned investors.

According to Forbes, the main beneficiary of the agreement will probably be Ivan Tavrin, who is the preferred candidate to manage this process due to his name and reputation in the market. Kismet’s representative also refuses to participate in negotiations regarding investments in Yandex.

It is interesting to note that the original plan to split Yandex’s business has undergone changes. It was previously assumed that investors would receive only an economic stake in the company and would be left with voting control over Yandex management.

We are now considering transferring control to a single structure that will coordinate the actions of a consortium of investors.
