The other day it became known that Goldman Sachs will expire its agreement with Apple on the Apple Card in the next 12-15 months.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Chase Bank could be the second partner to replace Goldman Sachs. Chase was an early Apple Pay partner and now works with Apple through its Ultimate Rewards program, which provides discounts on Chase tech. Currently, the Apple Card is on the Mastercard platform, which also uses Chase, so Apple won’t have to switch to Visa or American Express.
