VK opened its first office in Belarus, where the developers of the VKontakte, Zen and VK Tech teams will be located, according to the holding company in a statement.
VK’s plans to open an office in Minsk became known in August this year. It was reported that the company could develop the most promising areas and attract local developers.
The VK office in Belarus has a space of 400 square meters. meters, which will accommodate 50 developers from the VKontakte, Zen and VK Tech teams. 15 workplaces are reserved for coworking where VK employees coming from other cities or office guests can work.
“VK services are already familiar to millions of users in Belarus, and now we want to meet the Belarusian IT community, where we see many talented developers,” said Nadezhda Serova, vice president of educational and personnel projects at VK, quoted by the press service.
