Design: subtle differences

Xiaomi

Regarding the screen and design, it should be noted that POCO X6 and Redmi Note 13 Pro have a lot in common, but they have some differences that we consider decisive. For example, the POCO X6’s screen has better drop protection, has slightly better resolution (the difference is really minimal), but has a much higher brightness level.

Small X6

In terms of design, since both have 6.67-inch screens, we are looking at very similar cell phones, albeit with differences in the placement of the photography module and the way they display their branding on the back of each.

Because of these differences, we’d say that if you’re shopping for the best screen, we think the POCO X6 is the better option.

Cameras: the best camera

If you read the specifications carefully, you will probably notice that the only difference between POCO X6 and Redmi Note 13 Pro is the camera and, in particular, the main sensor.

The difference between the main sensor of POCO X6 and Redmi Note 13 Pro is 136 megapixels, which results in more detail when zooming in on photos taken with Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro and more detail. For night shots, we also saw better results from the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

However, we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that the price difference between each phone is around $100, and to be honest, it’s not obvious when comparing the photos we get on the Redmi Note 13 with the POCO X6. . More experienced eyes and users with advanced photography knowledge will notice the difference, but for the general public, both cameras are probably just very compatible.

Performance and battery

As far as the performance of each phone is concerned, we are somewhat puzzled as the specifications of the Redmi Note 13, which we found on reliable pages like GSM Arena and which we checked, show that it is equipped with a Qualcomm SM7435-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor – same processor as POCO X6. However, the Xiaomi Mexico page and information provided by the same company says that it is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra, which, although it performs well, offers lower performance than the Qualcomm variant.

For this reason, we can’t say how well one phone performs compared to another. However, if both cell phones have the same processor, the performance should be the same.

Regarding the autonomy of each of them, the additional 100 mAh of the POCO X6 will not make any difference.

In other words, performance and autonomy should not be the criterion for choosing a particular smartphone.

POCO X6 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro: which is better?

We’re faced with two competitors with very similar specs, and while the competition is very even on almost all fronts, it’s clear that the Redmi Note 13 Pro’s camera makes a difference. However, the price difference between the two makes the POCO X6 a very worthy competitor.

If your budget is shorter and you value the opportunity to spend a little more on the Redmi Note 13 Pro, we suggest you cut costs and go for the POCO X6.
