The government allocated 7.9 billion rubles for the modernization of agricultural facilities

According to the resolution, the allocated funds may be used to partially finance the construction and renovation of production facilities. This “will provide farmers with additional capacity to increase production, so that they can continue to provide citizens with quality food products.”

The decision concerns storage facilities for agricultural products, dairy farms, as well as selection, seed and breeding centers (in total more than 100 regional investment projects).

The decision to allocate funds from the Cabinet reserve fund was made on December 15 at a government meeting and “aims to develop agriculture and ensure the country’s food security.”
