Telecom operator Beeline is preparing to expand its activities in the field of cybersecurity and has announced a new service similar to that provided by Cloudflare. Beeline Vice President of Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions Renat Nasretdinov talked about the expectations in the field of information security and a new product that will be offered in the near future.

Cloudflare is known for its content delivery services (CDN) and protection against DDoS attacks worldwide, including in Russia. Beeline plans to offer its own version of a similar service with improvements. Nasretdinov emphasized that information security services are now in great demand in Russia and Beeline is striving to become a major participant in the cybersecurity market.

The operator has already taken steps to strengthen its position in this area, including the acquisition of CDNvideo, a company dealing with traffic logistics and fast content distribution. Nasretdinov emphasized the importance of content protection, especially in the face of increasing cyber threats, and noted that Beeline is actively interacting with information security vendors to develop a new product.
