Eco-technoparks “Gorny” and “Shchuchye” are important objects for the creation of high-tech infrastructure within the framework of the “Ecology” project. It is equipped with advanced equipment for the neutralization of class I and II industrial waste, mostly produced in Russia.

The main goal of these businesses is not only to safely neutralize waste, but also to extract as many useful components as possible for reuse. According to plans, eco-technoparks are planned to be operational before the end of 2024.

Sanctions led to restrictions in the work of many foreign suppliers, but Rosatom successfully replaced imported equipment with domestic analogues. Maxim Pogodin, General Director of FSUE FEO, noted that these solutions surpass foreign analogues in a number of parameters.

The installed equipment developed by a domestic company makes it possible to extract valuable components from waste and find application in various industries. An effective purification system ensures that air emissions comply with established standards, which is an important step towards environmental safety.
