The ministry’s press service reported that the rates of influenza and ARVI cases were exceeded by 21% in three regions: Moscow, Moscow region and St. Petersburg. This is more than 21% of cases.

“In the 52nd week between 25 and 31 December 2023, a 14.3% decrease in the number of influenza and ARVI cases was recorded in the Russian Federation compared to the previous week. Rospotrebnadzor said 44 regions recorded case rates exceeding the Russian average.
