Roman Abramovich’s partner and former deputy governor of Chukotka, Andrei Eskin, became the owner of 21% of the bus ticket aggregator Unitiki.

Roman Abramovich’s partner Andrey Eskin became co-owner of the bus ticket aggregator Unitiki

The owner of Unitiki LLC shares was Oleot LLC, controlled by Andrey Eskin. Unitiki head Dmitry Medvedev declined to comment. Oleot did not respond to Kommersant’s questions.

Unitiki is a bus ticket aggregator. The service operates in Russia and Belarus, with offers from 2.5 thousand carriers. Unitiki LLC’s revenue in 2022 amounted to 129.86 million rubles, having increased three times year on year. Net profit amounted to 14.2 million rubles compared to the losses of the previous year.

Infoline-Analytics CEO Mikhail Burmistrov believes that the market value of the online ticket aggregator can be three to four times the company’s annual revenue. Therefore, Unitiki’s business can be valued between 390 and 519 million rubles. The cost of Eskin’s participation will be approximately 82-109 million rubles.

Experts found it difficult to assess the market due to its fragmentation and the large proportion of the parallel sector. Furthermore, according to them, limited transport connections with Europe are slowing down the growth of the segment.

Andrey Eskin and Roman Abramovich act together as co-founders of Marytime Capital Investments LLC. Both businessmen previously worked in Chukotka.
