LG introduced the UltraGear OLED monitor series at CES 2024. The new line of peripherals highlights a 32-inch 4K model with a 240 Hz refresh rate with Dual-HZ technology, which allows you to switch between frequencies while sacrificing resolution.
The standout model is the LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE, a best-in-class 32″ monitor with 4K at 240 Hz or FullHD at 480 Hz resolution. The device stands out with its extremely thin edges and elegant structure.
Rounding out the specifications, the 32-inch UltraGear OLED delivers 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response, significantly reducing motion blur and improving image clarity. Additionally, the component has built-in speakers with DTS Virtual:X support.
LG UltraGear OLED 34” and 39”
Creating the series, LG also introduced the 34-inch (34GS95QE) and 39-inch (39GS95QE) LG UltraGear OLED. Unlike the smaller model, they offer QuadHD resolution (3440x1440p) and 240 Hz and 21:9 aspect ratio on the curved screen.
In these models, the focus is on immersion. The 800R curved screen helps cover the player’s field of view, making the experience more immersive, and anti-glare and glare-reducing technologies allow the user to observe the screen from different angles and remain unaffected by distraction.
LG UltraGear OLED 27” and 45”
At the end of the set are the 27” (27GS95QE) and 45” (45GS95QE and 45GS96QB) LG UltraGear OLEDs. These versions are revisions of previous models and have now been modernized to fit the manufacturer’s new family of monitors.
With a similar suggestion, the 45” UltraGear OLD models focus on immersion with their curved screen, QuadHD resolution (3440x1440p), and 240 Hz internal speakers. Offering the same QuadHD resolution (2560x1440p) and 240 Hz refresh rate, the 27” launch offers an alternative for those who do not want such a large monitor.
Price and availability
All models in the 2024 LG UltraGear OLED series support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and are compatible with G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro.
In advertising, LG did not provide information about the retail date or suggested price of the monitors. The expected arrival date of the devices in the Brazilian market was also not announced.
