Lenovo has announced its commitment to incorporating native, large-scale AI models into future products, calling it a critical step in the evolution of personal computers.

Positioning AI-powered computing as the next frontier, Lenovo envisions five key features: native AI hybrid computing power, natural language interaction with personal agents, embedded personal large models, an open ecosystem of AI applications, and device-level privacy and confidentiality protection.

The company’s strategy for building large AI models uses a hybrid approach that combines edge and cloud AI models. Apart from AI computers, Lenovo also plans to launch AI smartphones, AI tablets, and AIoT in the future.
