I’ve been using iPhones for many years now, and over that time, the Notes app has accumulated more and more different entries. As a result, scanned documents end up with telephone numbers, addresses and other important (and not so important) information.
Recently I logged in for more than 10 minutes to find the required scan in a pile of notes and remembered an incredibly useful feature called Smart Folder. Right now, in the Notes application, you can create special smart folders that will store notes sorted by specific criteria, for example, everything created in the last few days, recently edited, or your own attachments such as scans.
Now my notes are in complete order, I can quickly find the notes I need. I’m sharing with you how to put things in order in your notes, so I’m sure that many people in this application have the same reserves of information as I did.
How to Create a Smart Folder in Notes on iPhone
1. Go to Notes and press the folder icon on your remote control.
2. Enter a new name and click on “Convert to Smart Folder”.
3. In the next window, select the necessary filters to combine notes.

If you are afraid that the entries are sorted into these folders and will disappear from the feed to the application, then hasten to reassure: all your shared notes will remain in their place. Smart folders are used only for convenient filtering and data collection.
In exactly the same way, you can create smart folders in Notes for everything. Do: the order of similar actions.
You can create as many of these smart folders as you like, each time with your own filter. Use it and put your notes in order.
